Kathy Beitz and her sister Yvonne Felix have been diagnosed legally blind since they were young children. Yvonne had the opportunity to try a new technology called eSight ,which 'enable the legally blind to actually see' according to their website. Although skeptical at first, Yvonne gave the glasses a try and she tells HLN they changed her life -- so much so she became an ambassador for the company.
